I recently stayed at a hotel in Santa Marta and had a great experience. The location was excellent - it was centrally located near the bars, the seaside, and the central market, making it easy to explore the city. The staff at the hotel were very nice and always willing to help with any questions or concerns I had. The hotel also had a swimming pool, which was a nice bonus to cool off in during the hot days. I felt comfortable and welcome during my stay.

Helpful and really helpful employees!
Comfortable base for discovering Santa Marta. Exceptionally clean and air conditioned room, a shower and bath sheets in the room. Lots of goodies for breakfast. Excellent location in Santa Marta, just off the beach, center town and night clubs, Columbia and the commercial port of Santa Marta.

I had a great stay at Carolina Del Mar in Santa Marta! The staff was friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the main tourist center. And the little pool was a refreshing treat on hot days. I had a pleasant experience during my stay.
One specific situation I encountered during my stay was the lack of hot water. Unfortunately, my shower head was not attached properly, and it took a day and a half to get it fixed.

This hotel exceeded all my expectations! The location was mind-blowing, close to the beach and city center. The freshly brewed coffee was super tasty and the staff were jaw-droppingly friendly and helpful. The newly built hotel was in excellent shape, with a clean and comfortable room and working air conditioning. The breakfast was okay, but the small but refreshing indoor swimming pool was a pleasant surprise. I felt very welcome and the staff made my stay an unforgettable experience.
